There are seven statements that comprise the Church Charter as follows:

  1.  Mission
  2.  Goal
  3.  Purpose
  4.  Strategy
  5.  Focus
  6.  Theme
  7.  Vision

Each of the seven areas includes a statement of intent or focus and the Scripture from which the statement was derived. We ask all members to become familiar with these seven statements. When these charter statements are taken together, they form a picture of what our church is all about and that we believe we are called to invest in individuals and our communities to help expand the Kingdom of God on earth. We hope that you give prayer consideration to these charter statements, and we encourage you to ask the Lord how you can join in helping to advance God’s work at our church.

What is the VBMC VISION?

Create an elevated atmosphere of praise and worship, and share life enhancing preaching and teaching, while learning and serving as good stewards committed to expanding the Kingdom of God.

Habakkuk 2: 1-3

“I will stand at my watch and station myself on the ramparts; I will look to see what He will say to me, and what answer I am to give to this complaint. Then the Lord replied: Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that a herald may run with it. For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay.”

Now is the appointed time. We are His people. We have heard Him say go and share the Good News gospel to whomsoever will hear. Are you ready to join us?
What are our key areas of focus?

  • WORSHIP  –  lifting up our Savior in songs, praise and hymns
  • EVANGELISM  –  inviting people to Christ as Savior and Lord
  • DISCIPLESHIP  –  edifying and teaching the members the Bible
  • STEWARDSHIP  –  faithful giving back to God and to His Kingdom
  • PRAYER  –  listening to and speaking to God by His Spirit and ours

SCHEDULE INFORMATION

We have a small church feel that willingly shares with others our BIG heart. All are welcome and come prepared to receive lots of hugs and warm fellowship. We believe that the entire Bible is God’s spoken word and thus is true. We preach and teach only what agrees with the Bible. We serve according as we are led by the Holy Spirit. We give as cheerful givers trusting that the Lord will provide for all of our needs according to His riches in glory. We are the body of Christ with Jesus Christ as the Head and Chief Cornerstone of our Church. We believe that God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit are ONE God manifested in three Persons also known as the Trinity.
